Step 1
Mix the dry dough ingredients (flour, sugar, yeast, and salt). Add yogurt, olive oil, and water. Knead the dough by hand or using a mixer and let it rise.

Sauté the chicken in a pan over medium heat until it changes color. Then add garlic, spices, onion, tomato, and bell pepper. Continue sautéing until it softens and cooks.

Divide the dough into two parts and roll out the first half in an oiled circular baking tray.

Spread the chicken mixture over the rolled dough, then cover it with the other half of the dough.

Brush the surface of the dough with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds and nigella seeds as desired.

Place the pastry in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake until it turns golden brown.
