Step 1
Sift the wheat bran and mix it with the baking powder and powdered milk.

In an electric blender, mix water, sugar, and oil. Then add the mixture to the flour blend and stir until the mixture is homogeneous.

Knead the dates with the cardamom.

Grease the cake pan with a little oil and pour half the quantity of the cake batter.

Spread the kneaded dates over the cake layer, then pour the remaining quantity of the cake batter over the dates.

Place the pan in the oven at 200°C (390°F) for 30-40 minutes until it is cooked and becomes golden brown.

Garnish the top with coconut and pistachios.
