Pizza Dough


  1. Step 1

    In a cup, combine the sugar and the yeast with warm water. Stir the mixture until the sugar dissolves and let the yeast activate.

    Sift two and a half cups of FOOM flour into a bowl. Add two and a half tablespoons of olive oil and table salt, then knead well.

  3. Step 3

    Add the activated yeast to the flour mixture, then pour in the lukewarm cup of water.

  4. Step 4

    Knead the dough thoroughly, gradually adding the remaining flour until the dough becomes soft, cohesive, and smooth. You can use an electric mixer to knead the dough.

  5. Step 5

    Prepare a deep bowl, grease it with oil, place the dough inside, cover it with plastic wrap, and wrap it with a clean cloth. Put it in a warm place to rise until it doubles in size.

  6. Step 6

    Preheat the oven to a temperature between 200 to 220 degrees Celsius.

  7. Step 7

    Prepare a pizza tray, spread a little vegetable oil on it, and spread the dough in the tray. Poke some holes in it with a fork or the tip of a knife to distribute air and heat throughout the dough while baking.

  8. Step 8

    Spread the pizza toppings on the dough after adding the pizza sauce to the bottom of the dough and placing the mozzarella cheese on top of the pizza.

  9. Step 9

    Place the pizza tray in the oven for about 15 minutes, keeping an eye on the bottom to prevent burning.

  10. Step 10

    Remove the pizza from the oven and serve it hot.
